I've been using it recently on a Moto Droid (original) in my 1X, and I'd like to improve my stroke rate accuracy. Right now, the app often displays double my actual stroke rate (e.g. 46 instead of 23). It also seems to occasionally miss strokes (i.e. stays at one value while I increase my rate). The problems tend to be more severe when I'm rowing a light steady-state and less when I'm doing a hard sprint.

I've tried adjusting the advanced settings, but I feel like they either haven't helped or made things worse. I would love to read a walkthru that would list a set of problems and what settings to try adjusting in what direction to fix them.
