Hi, I'm the developer of Rowing in Motion (www.rowinginmotion.com). I really like what you're doing here and I think it's great that you encourage more people to harness the power of smartphones to improve their rowing.
I had thought about open sourcing the spec for the fileformat i'm using and the Analytics API so Talos rowing users could upload and analyze their rowing sessions in Rowing in Motion Analytics. I'd of course not only provide the spec, but also an implementation. Analytics will continue to provide a free usage tier, but may offer a paid premium service with more features in the future, just so you remain in the clear.
Would you accept such a contribution?

There are a few ways to go about this:
The most generic and neutral would be to ensure data required by Rowing in Motion is included in an already existing export-data functionality (not visible yet from the Android UI). Another is for the user to install a Rowing in Motion Android App which will respond to a Talos Rowing (trsd) mime intent so user may choose it when sharing their raw session files. Rowing in Motion will extract what is needed from either the exported-data CSV or TRSD raw files.
As long as it benefits the user, I guess it can not hurt to also have rowinginmotion.com menu entry (but also possibly other future providers) selectable when the 'share' functionality is activated.
